A Journey Through Kenya’s Untamed Heart

Day 1: Nairobi to Samburu National Reserve
Drive Time: 5-6 hours
Kickstart your adventure with an early morning departure from Nairobi at 6:30 AM, heading to Samburu National Reserve. Enjoy scenic views as you travel through lush coffee plantations and Mount Kenya’s foothills.
Arrive in time for a refreshing hot lunch at your selected lodge. Later, embark on an exciting afternoon game drive until sunset, encountering the Samburu Special Five—Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, gerenuk, and Beisa oryx—along with the Big Five.


Day 2: Exploring Samburu National Reserve
Enjoy a sunrise game drive, a prime time for spotting predators on the hunt. Witness cheetahs, leopards, and lions in action before heading back to the lodge for breakfast and relaxation. Spend the midday soaking in the lodge’s amenities or enjoying a swim.
In the evening, embark on another thrilling game drive as the sun sets over the reserve, creating the perfect golden-hour photography moment.

Day 3: Samburu to Aberdare National Park
After a hearty breakfast, check out and depart for Aberdare National Park. En route, pass through the picturesque Nyeri highlands, known for its tea plantations and cool climate.
Arrive for lunch at Aberdare Country Club before transferring to The Ark Lodge, a unique treehouse-style accommodation with a viewing deck overlooking a busy watering hole frequented by elephants, buffalos, and rhinos.
Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 4: Aberdare to Lake Nakuru National Park
Enjoy an early breakfast before departing for Lake Nakuru National Park, famous for its pink flamingos and endangered rhinos.
Arrive for lunch at your lodge before heading out on an afternoon game drive, where you can spot black and white rhinos, tree-climbing lions, and the rare Rothschild giraffe.

Day 5: Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara National Reserve
Start the day with an early breakfast before departing for Masai Mara National Reserve, home to the famous Great Migration (July-October).
Arrive for lunch at your tented camp or lodge. In the afternoon, set out for a game drive across the golden savannah, encountering elephants, lions, cheetahs, and hippos.

Day 6: Full-Day Masai Mara Safari
After an early breakfast, enjoy a full-day safari exploring the Mara’s rich ecosystem. Spot the Big Five and, if visiting from July to October, witness the Great Wildebeest Migration at the Mara River, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World.
Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wilderness before continuing with the game drive.


Day 7: Masai Mara to Lake Naivasha
Drive Time: 5 hours
After breakfast, depart for Lake Naivasha, a freshwater lake known for its hippos and birdlife.
Arrive in time for lunch at your lakeside lodge before heading out for a walking safari at Crescent Island, where you can walk among giraffes, zebras, and wildebeests. Optionally, take a boat safari on the lake (extra cost).


Day 8: Lake Naivasha to Amboseli National Park
Drive Time: 5-6 hours
Enjoy an early breakfast before heading to Amboseli National Park, famous for its elephant herds and views of Mount Kilimanjaro.
Arrive for lunch at your lodge before heading out for a scenic afternoon game drive, capturing breathtaking views of Africa’s highest peak and spotting large herds of elephants, lions, and cheetahs.


Day 9: Full-Day Safari in Amboseli
Start the day with a sunrise game drive, when predators like lions and cheetahs are most active. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush before continuing the safari in the afternoon.
Later, return to your lodge for relaxation, or opt for a cultural visit to a Maasai village (🏡 extra cost).


Day 10: Amboseli to Nairobi
Drive Time: 4-5 hours
After breakfast, check out and depart for Nairobi, arriving in the afternoon. End of an unforgettable safari experience!
